Dr Haroutyoun
Margossian is an established medical doctor who graduated from Damascus University
Medical School in Syria in 1984. He has enjoyed
a successful career as a Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
specialist in New York, working with hospitals such as the Brooklyn Hospital
Center and Richmond University Medical Center.
As a urogynecology
specialist, Haroutyoun Margossian helps treat various conditions, including
urinary incontinence, pelvic floor support defects, chronic pelvic pain
endometriosis and interstitial cystitis, among other female pelvic organ
pathologies. He's also taught resident doctors the skills of pelvic surgery and
educated them on how to evaluate and assess patients.
Haroutyoun Margossian
undertook his fellowship training at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation between
1997 and 2000, with a focus on laparoscopic gynecologic surgery (1997-98) and
urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. Prior to this, he undertook
his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Lutheran Medical Center in
Brooklyn, New York. He also has residency training in General Surgery.
Like many doctors,
Haroutyoun Margossian interacts with other professionals in the industry to
share information and ideas. As a result, he's become a member of various
professional organisations, including the American College of Surgeons and the
American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a Diplomate of the
American Board of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
In his spare time, Mr.
Margossian enjoys Italian and French cuisine, watching movies, playing the
piano, swimming and skiing.
